Process Engineer

Role Overview

Wieland is hiring a Process Engineer to analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance continuous flow processes and equipment. The role is located in Pine Hall, NC and will be fully on-site. The Process Engineer will be responsible for learning machine functions and process flow, becoming a subject matter expert, and optimizing Standard Operating Procedures.

What You Will Do

The Process Engineer will analyze and record process data, identify and implement workflow optimization, lead continuous improvement, and develop and deliver training on new and revised SOP. They will also utilize problem-solving and statistical tools to resolve processing and quality issues.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Materials Science Engineering, and experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma. They will be flexible, people-oriented, and able to work in a team environment.

• Experience with project planning, meeting deadlines, and staying within budget
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Access, SQL, and Minitab preferred
