Job Description
Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward position available at Chautauqua Institution's Greene Family Commons, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to visiting students during the summer season.
Requirements
- Load and unload commercial dishwashing machine with pots, pans, utensils, and silverware
- Assemble and disassemble the dishwashing machine before and after use
- Store and organize utensils
- Take out trash and secure it in dumpsters
- Sweep, mop, and keep the dish-washing area clean
- Observe food-safety requirements
- Assist cooks with food preparation and service
- Provide service and attention to back-storage areas, coolers, and freezers
