Housekeeping Supervisor (The Athenaeum Hotel)/Seasonal Employment

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeepers, providing leadership and training, and ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness and safety. The role involves routine cleaning duties, creating daily room assignments, and inspecting rooms to direct teams to efficiently complete cleaning tasks. The supervisor must also lead by example, interact with guests, and establish positive working relationships with team members and management.

Requirements

• Leadership and supervisory experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of OSHA's Blood Borne Pathogen and Hazard Communication/Safety Data Standards
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
