Job Description
Room Attendant position at The Athenaeum Hotel, Chautauqua Institution's historic hotel, cleaning hotel rooms and interacting with guests, with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.
Requirements
- Clean hotel rooms as assigned
- Ensure standards of cleanliness and safety
- Stock wheeled cart with cleaning supplies
- Execute specific procedures for cleaning hotel rooms
- Pick up trash/debris, vacuum, and transport waste
- Scrub and disinfect bathrooms
- Remove bed linens and replace with laundered linens
- Replenish supplies/toiletries
- Report room maintenance issues and safety concerns
- Follow outlined procedures to report/log lost guest items
- Comply with OSHA's Blood Borne Pathogen and Hazard Communication/Safety Data Standards
