
Job description
Chemours is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our growing Facilities Maintenance team. This position will be available at the Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, DE, and report directly to the Engineering, Maintenance & Quality Manager. The Electrical & Instrumentation Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical and instrumentation systems that support laboratory and pilot-scale operations.
Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems, including pressure regulators, relief devices, and control valves. Troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems and instrumentation using diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.).
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical documentation, and understand electrical systems, PLCs, and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of Electrical & Instrumentation experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
