Requirements

• Review and comply with the Pharmacy Technician Code of Conduct.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock and ordering supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Perform duties assigned by the Pharmacist, such as entering patient and drug information and filling prescriptions.
• Report prescription errors to the Pharmacist and follow company policies and procedures.
• Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare.
• Engage patients by offering assistance and answering questions.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register and collect and handle cash as required.
• Process claims for 3rd party reimbursement efficiently and correctly.
• Maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy.
• Perform other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
