Job Description
Child Development Institute is seeking 4 energetic Camp Counsellors to join our dynamic Camp Wimodausis team for a 6 week summer contract. This is a therapeutic day camp which operates out of CDI St. Clair Gardens site. The successful candidate will ensure that the conceptualization and delivery of CDI programs and services are consistent with the mission, values, policies, procedures, standards and priorities of the organization and are provided utilizing the SNAP model, an evidence-based CBT program that serves children exhibiting serious behavioral, emotional and/or social challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor's level degree in Social Work or Child and Youth Counsellor (CYC) degree/diploma or degree/diploma in a related field
- Minimum of one (1) years of direct experience with latency age children and adolescents and their families
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Must have a current and valid police records check with broad sector screening
