Job Description
The Emergency Preparedness Manager will oversee the systemwide emergency preparedness program, ensuring compliance with regulatory organizations and managing emergency management planning, training, and equipment.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in emergency preparedness with at least 2 years in a healthcare field
- Master's degree in emergency management or related field or 7 years of experience in a healthcare field
- Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) Emergency Management Institute G-235 Emergency Planning course
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification through the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) or the International Association of Emergency Management (IAEM) at hire or within 3 years of hire
- Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record
