RN/LPN Pediatric Respite - (PRN - Flexible Hours)

The role of a Respite Nurse is to offer one-on-one time between a child and licensed nurse within the family’s home or community. Respite care is designed to give families a break from the day-to-day care involved in raising a child with special healthcare needs.

Requirements

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
• Valid driver’s license with two or fewer violations in the past three years
• Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
• Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.
