Job Description
The role of a Respite Nurse is to offer one-on-one time between a child and licensed nurse within the family’s home or community, providing a break for families with children with special healthcare needs.
Requirements
- Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.
- Valid driver’s license with two or fewer violations in the past three years
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.
