The Head Coach is responsible for the overall administration of the middle school volleyball program, including discipling and mentoring student-athletes, parent relations, scheduling, travel, and budget.
Requirements
- Spiritually sensitive individual who understands the mission and philosophy of the school
- Born-again Christian with spiritual maturity and leadership abilities
- Ability to communicate well with various types of people
- Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude and integrity in all situations
- Provide appropriate training, discipline, and coaching
- Evaluate individual student athletes and develop a coaching plan
- Work closely with high school and middle school coaches
- Communicate proactively with student-athletes and parents/guardians
- Supervise student-athletes before and after practices/games
- Issue equipment and uniforms to student athletes
- Attend all games and post-season tournament(s)
- Set up facilities in preparation for practice, games, and events
- Conduct pre-season conditioning and practices
- Attend all professional development and coach meetings
- Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the TSSAA
- Complies with and supports all CAK policies
