MYDenver Summer Rec Kidz Inclusion Support Instructor

This is a part-time, hourly role working with youth in a recreational setting, providing support and accommodations for children with disabilities or neurodivergent youth. The position involves working on site at multiple recreation centers around the City and County of Denver, and requires reliable transportation to travel between various camp sites. The ideal candidate has experience working with children with disabilities, strong de-escalation and redirection skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with site supervisors, parents, and campers.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET, or TASC Certificate
• One year of experience in assisting in the operation and instruction of organized recreation activities
• Certification in CPR and First Aid within 6 months of date of hire
• Valid driver's license at the time of application
