MYDenver Summer Rec Kidz Site Leader

The MY Denver Summer Rec Kidz Site Leader position is a part-time, hourly role working with youth ages 5-12 in various recreation centers around Denver. The position involves supervising and facilitating programs, ensuring safety, and communicating with participants, parents, and staff. Requirements include experience working with children, leadership skills, and CPR/First Aid certification. The position requires a high school diploma and two years of experience as an instructor in a specialized program. The summer program runs from June 15th to August 7th, with a mandatory week-long training in June. Requirements

• Experience working with children in a similar setting
• Experience in facilitating programming and instructing youth, ages 8-12
• Experience in leading a team of three (3) or more employees within a youth program or project
• Experience working with youth with disabilities
• Experience in conflict resolution and interpersonal dilemmas
• Experience or training in behavior intervention and supervision of elementary youth
• Current CPR, First Aid and Standard Precautions
• Bilingual skills
