Job Description
The Business Solutions Specialist will support the corporation's business improvement needs through business analysis and functional training, collaborating with business leaders and the Innovation, Technology and Communications department.
Requirements
- Business Solutions Specialist will work with business units to assess areas of process improvement.
- Will help set vision and technology directions with business units.
- Will drive business case development and plan and manage projects.
- Will define, manage, and maintain the technology solutions portfolio.
- Will provide training to the corporation on productivity tools and follow industry software trends.
- Will perform user acceptance testing and work with customers on developing user stories for application development and version releases.
- Will shadow employees across the organization to understand their current service delivery models.
- Will establish and maintain key relationships with the business units.
- Will work with departments to help navigate the request for proposal (RFP) process.
- Will provide training to the corporation on City best practices and legislated requirements.
- Will assist in integration of, and communication between, software solutions.
- Will mentor others in areas of expertise and act as a liaison and/or champion for the business units within ITC.
