Job Description
The Distribution and Collection Operator (Non-certified – Class 1) will report to the Supervisor, Distribution and Collection. The Distribution and Collection Operator (Non-certified – Class 1) will assist the Distribution and Collection Operator (Class 2 - Class 3) and Distribution and Collection Operator (Class 4) in daily tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairing of Water and Wastewater attributes.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Operator’s License (registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan) with a clear driving record
- Grade 12 education
- Saskatchewan Water Distribution Operator Class 1 or Wastewater Collection Operator Class 1 certification or equivalent is an asset
- Understanding of technology such as computers and tablets
- Ability to understand, interpret as-builts and drawings in Water and Wastewater field
