Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the project team in achieving project goals and milestones, ensuring Environmental Health & Safety is incorporated throughout the project lifecycle. The selected candidate will support the project team in preparing and processing modifications to consultant contracts, developing communication and coordination with agency bureaus and stakeholders, and monitoring permit requirements. The position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility in assignment of work responsibilities.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering
- One year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible in assignment of work responsibilities
