Job Description
The Center for Health Equity & Community Wellness (CHECW) seeks to eliminate inequities resulting in premature mortality. The Bureau of Bronx Neighborhood Health seeks to hire two Asthma Community Engagement Coordinators to establish and maintain effective relationships with key local organizations and community partners.
Requirements
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key local organizations and community partners
- Manage special projects for the Bronx Asthma Program
- Coordinate activities for partnership building and improving community-level service coordination
- Support the development of Bronx Asthma Program outreach materials
- Provide services to the community and maintain ongoing communication with community partners, local leaders, and groups
- Supervise and train health promotion staff and interns
- Attend and deliver presentations and updates at community meetings and events
