Job Description
The Department of Social Services' Office of Legal Affairs is seeking an Attorney II to provide legal guidance, litigation support, and direct representation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. The successful candidate will work with the Adult Protective Services Litigation and Program Counseling Unit (APS/LPCU) and provide legal assistance, draft pleadings, and adjudicate proceedings.
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- One year of satisfactory United States legal experience subsequent to admission to any state bar
- Six months of satisfactory service as an Agency Attorney Interne (30086)
- Good standing in the New York State Bar
