Job Description
The Deputy Commissioner of Disease Control will oversee and manage the Division of Disease Control, providing leadership support on key public health and infectious disease control matters. The role will involve overseeing a $350 million budget and leading a team of over 1,300 staff in various programs.
Requirements
- Advise the Commissioner of Health and Assistant Commissioners on public health issues
- Direct and supervise Assistant Commissioners and/or other staff in various programs
- Develop and implement policies, programs, and evaluation plans
