Wastewater Operations Manager

The City of Vancouver is seeking a Wastewater Operations Manager to supervise, plan, and coordinate the activities and operations involved in the installation, construction, and maintenance of the City's wastewater collections system. The successful candidate will have 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in sewer collection system activities, including 2 years of supervisory/management experience. Equivalent experience in a public sector, unionized environment is desired. The position is subject to successful completion of a pre-employment reference check, a basic criminal background check, and a driving abstract.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in the operation and maintenance of sewer collection system activities
• Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience
• Equivalent experience in a public sector, unionized environment is desired
• Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, public or business administration, construction technology, or a related field
