The Residential Boys Youth Counselor provides direct care, supervision, and support to adolescents during school and group activities. The role involves acting as a positive role model and reinforcing each adolescent’s individualized treatment plan.
Requirements
- Experience working with youth, at-risk youth, or court-involved adolescents (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Ability to pass DCF background check upon hire (Required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
