Job Description
This position offers a chance to work in a close-knit, family-like practice with a focus on providing personalized eye care. The role requires a high volume of work and a proactive attitude. Responsibilities include patient intake, ophthalmic examinations, chart management, and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe
- Demonstrates flexibility in job assignment
- Demonstrates experience and ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Efficiently and accurately interview patients and document histories
- Proficiency with HVF, Lensometry, Corneal Topography, Optical Coherence Tomography, Tonometry, Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, Fundus Photography and Refracting.
- Proficiency with EMR computer programs (Nextgen/EMA preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with computer and related software programs
- Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills
