Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Ophthalmic Scribe is to support the physician in the clinical setting by enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
- Accurately and thoroughly document ophthalmic exams and procedures
- Record diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and follow-up instructions
- Provide patients and/or family members with self-care and follow-up instructions
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain clinic flow
- Perform additional duties as assigned
