Job Description
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District is seeking a Teacher, Secondary JROTC Instructor (Army) to oversee and assume responsibility for the Army JROTC program at Lincoln-West Campus. The instructor will be responsible for conducting the program in accordance with applicable laws and adhering to all USACC regulations and policies. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, Army JROTC certification, and a minimum of 20 years of active duty experience in the Army.
Requirements
- Oversee and assume responsibility for the Army JROTC program
- Conduct the program in accordance with applicable laws and adhere to all USACC regulations and policies
- Recruit new students and market the Army JROTC program
- Teach Army JROTC cadets and achieve curricular requirements and learning standards
- Counsel students on their academic performance and assist them in applying for Senior ROTC scholarships
- Participate in staff meetings, school committees, and student activities
