Solutions Engineering Manager,

Cloudflare is seeking a Solutions Engineering Manager to manage a cross-functional team of Solutions Engineers based in Austin, responsible for growing the account base and providing value to Cloudflare customers and prospects. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, interpersonal, and business acumen, with experience in internet technologies, cloud technologies, and team management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies.
• Minimum 1 year of team management experience, including hiring and performance review.
• Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities.
• Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
• Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.
