Cloudflare is looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager to manage cross-functional technical activities for Cloudflare customers in the SoCal region. The role requires strong leadership, interpersonal, and business acumen to grow the account base. The team partners with the West Sales team and Customer Success to provide value to customers and prospects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or another related field or its equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience with internet technologies / protocols and / or cloud technologies.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams of Solutions Engineers or similar roles.
- Experience managing opportunity sales cycles and identifying technical proof activities
- Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementation and driving best practices with cross functional organizations.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of successfully building collaboration around important initiatives.
- Successful track record of working and influencing matrixed organizations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, and customer focus.
- Familiarity with Sales industry standards such as MEDDPICC, BANT, Sales cycles, POCs, Pre-Sales methodologies, etc.
