Job Description
Westlake Country Club in Austin, TX is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to lead the culinary operations and manage kitchen staff. This role is full-time and requires operational responsibility in absence of the Executive Chef. The position emphasizes menu planning, budget management, employee coordination, and adherence to food safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef.
- Health and sanitation card.
- Food service management certification, Serve Safe.
- Demonstrate proficiency with all kitchen equipment.
- Understand cost and labor controls.
- Experience with traditional and contemporary culinary techniques.
