Data Extraction Specialist

CMiC is a global software company focused on the Construction industry. The Data Extraction Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing scripts to extract data from legacy systems for import into CMiC database. This position requires effective communication with customers, flexibility to work outside of regular working hours, and willingness to learn CMiC software.

Requirements

• Analyze and document scope of work for Data Extraction projects
• Provide estimates for Data Mapping and Extraction scripts creation
• Design, develop, and maintain scripts and queries for Data Mapping and Extraction tasks
• Work with external Data Extraction programmers to understand and resolve issues with incoming data
• Assist customers with Data Mapping and Extraction activities
• Develop and execute database queries as needed
• Perform data corrections through analyzing data for errors and formulating corrective procedures
• Work with other team members to efficiently troubleshoot issues related to Data Conversion
• Provide ongoing status and feedback of the Data Conversion process to all parties involved
