Job Description
Coastal Villages Seafoods is seeking Seafood Processors for longline vessels in the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and Aleutian Island. The role involves converting raw fish into processed, high-quality seafood, sorting fish by species, operating machinery, and packing/labeling the final product. It requires working in a confined environment and handling machinery, equipment, and potentially hazardous conditions.
Requirements
- Basic math abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
- Ability to read, speak, and write in English
- Ability to apply basic math functions in stressful environments
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks like lifting and standing
- Ability to perform tasks in adverse weather conditions
- Medical clearance for respirator use
