Job Description
CNC Machinist position with 7+ years of experience required, with primary duties including setting up and operating CNC mills, interpreting blueprints and technical specifications, and performing first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school required
- 7+ years of CNC machining experience
- Advanced experience with CNC mills
- Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining principles
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving machinery
