Metrology Engineer - Third Shift

Join Commonwealth Fusion Systems as a Metrology Engineer to develop, validate, and deploy inspection methods for highly engineered hardware supporting the SPARC project. Work with complex parts and advanced measurement systems to ensure hardware meets performance and reliability requirements.

Requirements

• Develop and refine advanced mechanical inspection techniques to solve complex measurement challenges
• Qualify and document inspection methods in partnership with Quality Engineering
• Collaborate daily with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to support production readiness and rapid issue resolution
• Maintain metrology equipment and standards; execute 5S and calibration/verification activities as applicable
• Design and procure inspection fixturing and tooling to enable accurate, repeatable measurements
• Summarize, visualize, and present critical dimensional inspection results to technical and non-technical stakeholders
