CPI is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Account Manager to drive growth in military, aerospace, and government markets by identifying new opportunities, shaping requirements, and securing long-term production contracts.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, technology, or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or similar role
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office
- Proven track record as a hunter and closer, with measurable revenue wins
- Demonstrated success selling to DoD and Tier 1 defense contractors
- Experience managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar opportunities
- Familiarity with defense acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and program lifecycles
- Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
- Currently hold Secret or above DoD clearance or ability to do so
