Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Peer Support Recovery Specialist to join our case management team, providing support and encouragement to clients and sharing their own story of recovery. The role involves fostering engagement and hope, developing relationships, and assisting clients with referrals and navigation of resources.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- Lived experience of mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder
- Ohio Peer Recovery Supporter (CPRS) certification from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health
- Valid Ohio driver's license and insurability through the Agency's insurance carrier
- Ability to develop positive relationships with individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse challenges
