FINANCE DIRECTOR

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the account's financial strategy and planning.

Requirements

• Develops and maintains timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Consolidates, analyzes, and presents monthly financial statements to operational and client leadership
• Oversee the monthly close process and working closely with the field accounting team to continually improve the close process
• Works closely with operational & client leadership to provide financial guidance and direction
• Assists in compiling and analyzing budgets & forecasts, considering 'what if' scenarios and bringing forth suggestions
• Analyze and review of weekly and monthly results and working closely with the operational team developing action plans to resolve financial issues.
• Manage and control the annual budgeting process and assist with the presentation to Divisional Management.
• Oversee/Manage bookkeeping duties including office manager, bookkeeper or other admin support staff
• Ensure sound financial control throughout the system and work closely with the Internal Audit Department to ensure: ICR Reporting Compliance, Audit report recommendations are implemented promptly, Cash handling disciplines are in place
