As the Retail Food Service Manager, you will support the Director of Dining Services in ensuring the successful execution of all retail and cafeteria operations within Food & Nutrition Services.
Requirements
- Oversee daily retail operations, providing leadership and hands-on support to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Plan and supervise special functions and events.
- Maintain strong cash-handling controls, payroll accuracy, and required operational documentation.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop hourly team members.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and excellent public relations through efficient, safe, and resourceful operations.
- Direct staff to deliver retail services in alignment with corporate policies and presentation standards.
- Train employees in customer service, portion control, cashiering, and safety/sanitation procedures.
- Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reports within required deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, patients, and families.
- Implement and maintain cash-handling standards as outlined in corporate policies to eliminate loss or misuse of company funds.
