PLC Technician, Nights - Bakery Plant

The PLC Technician will be responsible for the selection, installation, programming, documentation, and knowledge of all plant instrumentation and automatic devices. They will report to the Maintenance Manager and work at the Indianapolis Bakery plant.

Requirements

• Document and track production variables, downtime, product samples, and ensure proper blending of raw materials by weight or automatic metering systems
• Follow and document the time and temperature points in recipe specifications to meet quality standards
• Actively support the ConAgra Performance System
• Follow up with outside services
• Follow up on control work that has been done by Maintenance Technicians
• Train team members on the operations of newly installed or modified process or utility control systems
• Follow up with contractors to insure they turn over fully documented PLC programs of the systems they have worked on and that they provide training for all personnel involved in the area of concern
