Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will lead and oversee plant production operations to deliver safe, high-quality products while meeting cost, labor, and production objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Biology, Industrial Management, or a related field from a four-year college or university
- 4+ years of production management experience, ideally within the food industry
- 3+ years of supervisory experience managing performance, staffing decisions, and metric accountability
- Experience solving practical problems involving multiple variables in situations with limited standardization
- Experience reviewing and interpreting business publications, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Experience preparing reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
- Experience presenting information and responding to questions from managers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Experience applying basic algebra and geometry concepts
- Experience interpreting written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions
