Job Description
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter needed for various settings, including working with deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, and/or oral individuals. 1 year interpretation experience preferred, interpreter certification required.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and American Sign Language (ASL)
- Minimum 1 year interpretation experience
- Interpreter certification (RID – CDI)
- Understanding of deaf culture and history of education for students with hearing loss
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
