Convera is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive sales of complex products, hedging solutions, and FX. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of financial services sector experience in FX or payments, and experience in consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years financial services sector experience in FX (i.e., understanding of financial markets and their instruments, such as SPOT, FWDS, Derivatives) or payments (i.e., understanding of Payments & technology market)]
- B2B sales experience
- Experience in consultative selling, corporate negotiations, and customer acquisition (including networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc.)
- Strong understanding of bulk payment processing, international payments, accounting systems, and platform integration
- Financially astute and proven ability to achieve or exceed KPIs and revenue targets
- Ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced team environment
- Fluent in English (oral and written), as all internal communication is in English
