Technical Solutions Engineer

Copia Automation brings modern developer tools and resiliency to industrial automation. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you'll solve challenging problems and help customers evaluate and adopt modern tooling that improves their workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in a technical, customer-facing role
• Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies and workflows
• Experience with tools such as Rockwell Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal, or equivalent
• Comfortable presenting live demos and engaging with prospects of varying technical backgrounds
• Ability to run structured discovery conversations and ask strong technical follow-up questions
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively
• Experience navigating complex stakeholder groups (controls, IT, cybersecurity, engineering leadership)
• Excellent communication skills and technical intuition
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales
