Mechanical Technician

Corning is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join its Advanced Manufacturing Technology group (AMT) in the Fiber Capital Programs (FCP) department. The successful candidate will lead capital projects to expand the capacity and capability of Global OFC Manufacturing Facilities, providing project leadership in the upgrading, building, installation, commissioning, and startup of Corning Optical Communications manufacturing systems.

Requirements

• AS in Mechanical Technology or other technical discipline.
• 3 years of experience with capital manufacturing equipment projects or similar manufacturing/engineering experience.
• 7+ years of work experience for non-degree candidates.
