Process Engineer

Requirements

• BS degree or above in Science & Engineering
• 5-year or above experience
• Experienced in process improvement
• Broad manufacturing experiences
• Experience in working with vendor onsite for contract manufacturing operation and management
• Global work experience, working across regions and cultures
• Experience in display/touch panel manufacturing/cover glass/mechanics is preferred
• Fundamental understanding of material finishing e.g. cutting, grinding, extrusion, polishing, washing, coating, lamination, packaging
• Ability to perform material failure analysis and defect characterization
• Knowledge of process control/process discipline, SPC, DOE, Statistics, DMAIC, MEE, Taguchi and Total Quality methods
• Good problems solving and analytical capabilities (particularly statistical analysis)
• Fluent English communication skill including verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, planning, organizing, and relationship building
• Cross-cultural sensitivity, able to work in a diversity team-based environment
