Matterport is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales, strong business level English language skills, and native fluency in Japanese. Responsibilities include delivering and exceeding quarterly targets, generating pipeline for the territory, and delivering sales, technical presentations, and demos to new and existing customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Native fluency in Japanese (listening, speaking, comprehension, reading, writing)
- Advanced business level English language skills (listening, speaking, comprehension, reading, writing)
- Proven track record in an Account Executive SaaS sales role or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in sales across Japan with strong, demonstrable SaaS sales experience with at least including closing multiple SaaS multi-year deals
- Able to effectively and successfully lead on up to 10-12 customer meetings a week
- Focused on Value Based solution selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC sales methodology across both mid market to enterprise deals
- Ability to create and build pipeline against a mid-range sales cycle, which closes within 4-9 months
- History of achieving 100% sales quotas
- Experience working in the SaaS Technology Space serving clients in one or many of these industries; Commercial or Residential Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, Construction
