County Caseworker I (Children & Youth Services)

This full-time position involves providing social services to families within the County of Berks, PA. It involves casework, counseling, and assisting clients in achieving their goals. The role requires expertise in social policies and procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Bilingual skills are also expected, as are the ability to manage caseloads and perform administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Obtains information from clients.
• Provides casework and counseling services to clients.
• Works in close cooperation with other social agencies.
• Documents all interactions with clients and service providers.
• Can translate from English to Spanish and vice versa.
• Knowledge of basic economics, sociology, and psychology.
