Legal Intern (Public Defender's Department)

This Legal Intern position within the Public Defender’s Department in Reading, PA, involves researching and drafting legal documents, assisting with data entry, and performing other administrative tasks. Interns must be admitted to an accredited Law School, possess general knowledge of PA Criminal Law, and demonstrate strong research, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Admission to Accredited Law School
• General knowledge of PA Criminal Law
• Familiarity with West Law or Lexis Nexis legal research
• Ability to use Windows based computer programs
• Good oratory skills and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
