Job Description
Vertis Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for consistent PRN hours for their Assisted Living facilities in Topeka, KS. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with therapeutic procedures to improve self-care skills and independence, while providing strong supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. It requires collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and adherence to quality and compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and five years of direct practice experience.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated competency in applying Occupational Therapy principles to the patient population.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Adequate computer skills.
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.
- Promotion of Vertis Therapy services to the community.
