Job Description
Vertis Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for consistent PRN hours during the week and/or weekends at their Assisted Living facility in Washington DC. The position provides a patient-centered care environment with a focus on improving speech, language, hearing, swallowing, and cognition. The role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate patient records, and participating in interdisciplinary team collaboration.
Requirements
- Master of Science degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- Current license/certification in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year experience in geriatric rehabilitation
- Completion of required education or experience for speech-language pathology certification
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Adequate computer skills
