
Job description
The Maintenance Planner will work closely with the Preventative Maintenance Manager and the Process Analyst planning all upcoming maintenance related activities. The role is responsible for managing all aspects of CMMS, including work order management, inventory, and pm completion rates. The Maintenance Planner will also work with the maintenance supervisor to build effective and efficient pm programs.
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance work, maintaining appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and report completed work results. They will also develop a weekly work schedule for preventative maintenance and planned work, ensuring a scheduling balance with hours available and full utilization of personnel.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and with a team, and effective leadership skills. They will also have excellent time management and project management skills, as well as the ability to multi-task. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for managing a team and will need to have demonstrated employee relations skills and the ability to motivate people.
