
Job description
As a Maintenance Planner, you will develop maintenance plans, manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and coordinate with vendors and contractors. You will work with the Maintenance and Engineering Teams to ensure timely completion of work orders and asset management. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing maintenance schedules, managing the CMMS, coordinating with vendors and contractors, reviewing reports, and generating work orders. You will also be responsible for gathering and reporting planning metrics and exercising initiative and independent judgment in adapting procedures to address day-to-day activities.
This role is suitable for individuals with a post-secondary education in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. You will have 2+ years of experience in a Maintenance planning role within large facilities and excellent computer skills, including advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, and Access. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and principles is a strong asset.
