Recipe Localization Specialist responsible for migrating, localizing, managing, and maintaining instructional recipe content across regional databases, starting with Mexico. This role ensures operational consistency while accounting for regional differences, supports testing and content updates, and executes projects with precision and strong time management. Travel is required to support regional implementation.
Requirements
- Migrate all recipes and instructions from the primary database to a new, region-specific database.
- Use language and cultural expertise to localize instructional design within recipes and other menu-related training material to account for culture, operations, and language differences.
- Occasionally help with the translation of recipes from English to Spanish as needed.
- Proofread existing and auto-generated translations to ensure they are easy to understand and precisely communicate the intended information.
- Identify, develop, document, and accommodate operational differences between regions.
- Maintain and manage all recipes within a regional recipe database and instructional library, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Create clear project outlines and execute them within set timelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support teams and ensure consistent product and process quality through clear documentation and detailed reporting.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in recipes, procedures, and workflows.
- Edit and upload preliminary recipe videos to support testing and evaluation at designated locations.
- Weekly review of production and quality to ensure high brand standards.
- Verify that ingredient sourcing, handling, and preparation align with brand specifications.
- Troubleshoot recipe execution issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions in real time.
- Ensure all recipe applications follow regional food safety standards, including accurate documentation of time, temperature, and preparation procedures.
- Supports Sr. Manager of the Menu Database in communication between U.S. HQ and Regional HQ as needed.
- Frequent travel to regional locations for implementation, collaboration, and training.
- Report on operational performance, recipe execution, ingredient quality, and production challenges in a clear and timely manner, filtering information to the appropriate team(s).
- Serve as an interpreter for the Spanish and English languages as needed.
- Document and escalate any incidents, quality concerns, or deviations from brand standards.
